Salt Creek Café
brand identity • website • menu design • photography • advertising • local broadcast spots • billboard •
t shirts and more

Salt Creek Cafe from day one.
After listening to the owner's vision for their brand new restaurant Salt Creek Cafe, I worked closely with them to create a unique visual identity beginning with a logo with a swirl that became their mark. (Over time they were forced to change the name to Salt Water Creek)
While the restaurant was under construction I did a surf photoshoot with the owner and a shoot with his kids and their collection of long boards on the beach for 7 foot sepia toned canvas prints to hang in the restaurant.
The first year of the restaurant's opening saw a huge amount of marketing including postcards, coupons, a billboard, magazine and newspaper ads. The website and all the printed pieces featured my photography of their food and drinks. We even shot two SUPER low budget local commercials starring the owners daughter.
Update: Sadly after a long run the restaurant closed. - screen grabs of the original website are below.

In the first year of the restaurant's opening along with the website I designed a huge amount of marketing materials including coupons, local magazine & newspaper ads and even a billboard.

We had lots of fun shooting super low budget local TV spots
featuring the owner's daughter.

For in house I designed the menu, to-go menu, coloring sheets for kids and T shirts for fundraisers and special events

Last but not least I did a surf photoshoot with the owner and his kids and we had 7 foot wide sepia toned canvas prints of my photographs made to be featured in the restaurant.
